What do we look for?
We look for a strong interest in financial markets and investing, analytical and problem-solving skills, and a fundamental commitment to learning and professional development. We place a high value on intellectual curiosity and intrinsic motivation. Freshmen and Sophomores are preferred.
What does the recruitment process include?
We recruit new analysts at the beginning of each semester. The process involves a written application, a mandatory training season - covering accounting principles, valuation methods, and market analysis - and a series of interviews with our leadership members.
Can I apply without any finance or economics background?
Yes, we encourage it. No prior financial experience or interest is required or expected. We teach our curriculum during our recruitment training assuming zero prior knowledge. Many of our most successful members entered the fund with no background in finance.
Do I have to major in finance or business to do well in the fund?
No, we do not expect any particular coursework from our applicants or members. Several of our current members, including leadership, do not major in finance or business.
